Tarkwa Bay

Sundays have become our beach day, and more often than not when the weather is good, we head out to Tarkwa Bay.  Getting there is quite something, we leave The Lagos Yacht Club at around 11h00 by boat, which actually is the only way to get there.  If you are not members at the Yacht Club you can catch a water taxi.  It takes about 15 minutes to get there.

Boat Crew

Arriving at the beach, children come running to carry your cooler boxes and bags, if you use their service you will have to "dash" (pay) them.  Its a day to barbecue, relax and enjoy.
